The Act was passed by the Parliament and received the assent of the President on the 14th September, 2023. It came on the Statute Book as the The Mediation Act, 2023 (32 of 2023) [w.e.f. 09-10-2023; for Section 1, Section 3, Section 26, Sections 31 to 38 (both inclusive), Sections 45 to 47 (both inclusive), Sections 50 to 54 (both inclusive) and Sections 56 to 57 (both inclusive).
